Week 2: Independent Study

5 Reference Images of Landscapes

Yosemite National Park, California, USA
Yosemite National Park, one of the first wilderness parks in the United States, is best known for its waterfalls.  Within its nearly 1,200 square miles, you can find deep valleys, grand meadows, ancient giant sequoias, and vast wilderness all collaborated which creates a really nice aesthetic feel.  As you can see the open space creates a lot of sunlight and fresh breeze.

Week 2: Lecture Reflection

In this weeks lecture we discussed real vs unreal sculptures.  We also saw some Computer Generated Imagery (CGI) demos in which we got to see how they are used. What i found most interesting were the hyper realism sculptures and to the amount of detail each of the sculptures went into which is something i would probably like to research more deeply to get an even better appreciation.
